First, I have to say thanks for the support on my current (and debut) solo single, The only thing I hate is you. Likes, posts, shares, and purchases... It means everything to any musical artist working today, trust me. A little love goes a long way to those of us who are compelled beyond logic to create music.
Now, the exciting news coming up for May 2018 - yes, you guessed it, another song release. This is something I am ridiculously excited about, because I feel it's probably my favourite and most relatable songs I've written. I probably say that a lot, but for me, THIS TIME is just... special and intimately personal. Lyrically, it's about the apprehension of trying to trust again after a painful betrayal. It’s a “pretty” acoustic song, with some nifty guitar harmonies and a real "retro" vibe. The guest vocalist is V from Creeping Beauty. We've been working together for a long time, and I just knew she would totally "get it", and I was right. I hope you love the song as much as we do!
I don't want to get too far ahead of myself here, but the plan is for the next few follow up singles to be full-band rock songs. Think "Cheap Trick meets Lynyrd Skynyrd meets classic Van Halen"... for lack of a better description.
